Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for this website is TaviTavi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17334435), registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom (tavitavi.com). Privacy requests: privacy@divorce-legal-aid.com. General contact: hello@divorce-legal-aid.com.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply (lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering you), keep it for no longer than 12 months, and don’t share it. You have rights under UK data protection law — including to access or delete your data — and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Please don’t email us details of abuse or of your case: we can’t advise, and the free advice services can.
The provider finder republishes office names, addresses and phone numbers published by the Legal Aid Agency. If a listing about you is wrong, email us and we’ll correct it or point you to the Legal Aid Agency.
What we collect
- No cookies, no advertising trackers, no social media pixels. We don’t load third-party fonts or scripts.
- The tools run in your browser. Answers to “Check your options”, the cost calculator, and any postcode or town you type into the finder are processed on your device only. They are not sent to us or anyone else, and are not saved. Postcode search uses a copy of the postcode data that your browser downloads from this site.
- No forms. This site has no enquiry or contact forms. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
- Server logs. Our host (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Analytics. None at present. If we add it, we’ll use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites, and update this page.
Staying safe online
If you’re worried someone may check your phone or computer:
- Use the red “Leave this site quickly” button on our domestic abuse pages (or press Esc twice). It takes you to a weather page and replaces the current page in your history — other pages you visited on this site will still be in your history, so a private window is safer.
- Use a private or incognito browser window, and clear your browsing history afterwards — but be aware that clearing all history can itself look unusual.
- Use a device, phone number and email address that the other person can’t access.
- The National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247, free, 24 hours) can help you plan how to stay safe.
